1. Never disappoints

   Pig was delicious and succulent. This was my second order and we were not disappointed yet again. Delivered as requested on Christmas Eve...16-17kg pig took approximately 4.5 hours on the spit. I stuffed it with lots of apples, onions and fresh bunches of herbs; while it was cooking all these aromas and juices permeated the meat...yum!

   The service was exceptional and the meat was delicious. Was the first time doing this and the process was made so much easier with advice and support from spitpigs. I would recommend doing this, as would my guests who tasted the final product.

4. A Great Thing to do

   20kg pig took 5 hours to cook, but when my 30 guests arrived, with an hour to go, the anticipation grew steadily. The meat was tender, delicious, flavoursome, and the crackling was to die for. The night was a great success.

   The pig was sensational. So succulent and fresh my guests kept coming back for more. And the service was outstanding. I emailed a query on availability and then didn't order until a last minute glitch meant I was looking at a party with no pig when the butcher order fell through. Danny was so accommodating and the pig did not disappoint!!

6. My first time.

   Having never spit roasted a whole pig before I had no expectations. However, I was absolutely delighted with the results. The pig was delivered exactly when I was told and stored overnight ready to cook for a party that had been planned for the next day. It took about 6 hours cooking from start to finish and my guests and I were blown away with the result. The meat was succulent and moist and full of flavour. The skin crisped up into some fantastic crackling. I can't recommend doing this highly enough and will definitely buy through Spit Pigs again as they produced a fantastic product at a reasonable price.

7. Absolutely Fantastic

   After being let down by the local butcher 2 years in a row, I looked on line and up popped spit pigs. Placed a request late notice mind you, needing the pig for orthodox christmas , at 11:30 am wed 4th jan, had a call from danny @ spit pigs prior to midday that day, saying it was available . Ordered on line just after lunch . Delivered by the date and time of my request being friday afternoon . The fresh suckling pig was perfect roasted up brilliantly everyone commented on how beautiful moist and tender the meat was not to mention the crackling. Made our christmas Lunch one to remember especially for the suckling pig. Will not hesitate to use or recommend Spit pigs for future occasions for family and friends. Thank you Danny, you saved our christmas and you've won a customer for life.

8. Beautiful pig and fantastic customer service

   Customer service was exceptional; the team was in regular contact, answered queries very quickly and delivered on time with no hassles. The pig itself was delicious, everyone thoroughly enjoyed the roasting process and were blown away by the flavour once it was served. This really made our xmas and I highly recommend it to anyone who is seeking a good quality product, delivered to their door in an efficient manner.

    Highly recommend spitpigs.com.au. The ordering process was easy, had regular communication regarding progress of our order. Then the day before planned delivery a phone announcing exact delivery 2 hour window so I could plan my Christmas Eve. Our pig was delivered on time and exact size we needed. Then it cooked fantastically with scrumptious crakling and the meat was so tender and more-ish! This babe was delicious and value for money. Now to order one for New Years party!!
