   I thought to try something different this year for Christmas and order a suckling pig for the spit. Lucky I did!!!
   One of the most tastiest pigs we’ve ever ate.

   Had a crazy idea to cook a whole pig. Only problem was where was I going to get a whole pig at such sort notice?
   Emailed spit pigs on a Tuesday. Received a response on Tuesday, Pig delivered Friday and demolished on Saturday.
   Great service.

9. Do you want better than restaurant quality?

   From the ordering process to the delivery to my door step was faultless, preparation was helped with there online video as it was my first spit pig ever so was a bit nervous. Stuffed with whole pig with whole onions, apples, garlic, carrots, parsley and salt until it's belly was full with a bit of olive oil then stitched her up. Scored the skin then rubbed with olive oil and salt, sat for a couple of hours at room temp. then onto the charcoal spit. Was hosting a gathering of friends for the Mayweather v McGregor fight so the pressure was on. Let it cook slowly for around 3-4hrs so all the guests we salivating awaiting for the end result. Finally off the spit and fair to say it lasted 10min on the table as it was devoured and eaten as is from pull pork rolls to straight in the mouth and the compliments were overflowing with "Best they have ever had" to "Best crackling ever" so fair to say it was an overall success and enjoyable afternoon had by everyone with the highlight of the day was this Beautiful suckling pig. Thank you Spitpigs for your amazing service and quality of pig as I will be definitely be ordering from you guys again and again especially for our Xmas do. Thanks guys 10/10 from me and a massive thumbs up

    Easy to order. Confirmation email on ordering. Received a phone call on the day to advise me what time it would arrive. I must say, it was the best pork ever. 9.8kg and cooked on gas BBQ rotisserie. Cooked for 4 hours and was perfect all the way through. Amazing crackle but that's from me rubbing salt into it several times over the 24 hours prior to cooking. Kept in the fridge until 2 hours prior and took it out to get to room temperature before cooking.
